Every time I see those damn adds about how Mac is better than PC, it just makes me think of how many more adds Microsoft could make about why they are better than Macs, I mean everything is designed to run in Windows anyway! Microsoft keeps their pitch more professional and furthermore, they are true, “A wonderful world of PCs and devices, all running on Windows.”

This video is really inspiring, take a couple of minutes to watch and really think about what it all means. As more and more information is available globally and technology continues to push us ahead into new frontiers, what will we possibly do with all this information? How are we going to keep up? This video mentions that currently the amount of technical information doubles every 2 years, by 2010 it will double every 72 hours! How will anyone be able to keep up with this? Will it drive everyone into insanity? I could rant on for ages about this video but instead I’d rather you watch it and define your own questions from it…

I’ll admit when I first started doing freelance web development and design professionally, about 3 years ago, it was really hard to find contract work, I made sites for really cheap, really broke my back for people. I would take any bone that was tossed in my plate. These days it’s a completely different story for me, projects come my way frequently, I’ve learned a lot in the three years I’ve been in this profession and thought I’d share some of these things you usually cannot learn in a text-book, most of these things you can only learn one day, by making the mistakes and paying the price.

Last Christmas I received an imate JAMin smart phone, and despite everyone telling me that I’ll end up loosing the stylus, I thought “Nah, will never happen to me.” Well, it did. One day on my way to work, I go for the stylus and it’s gone. Where or how I lost it is anyone’s guess. I was a little pissed off at first but then after looking on eBay for a replacement, I found that they were in abundance, cool. I wasn’t sure of the actual pricing of these things but found a relatively cheap offer from Hong Kong, ‘Buy It Now’, Done.
